I submitted the application for pre-approval of a mortgage and I am meeting with a realtor tomorrow morning. This is happening. It still hasn't sunk in. o.=.o

PHP and JS are what happens when feature creep is the basis of your language's growth model. ;~;

I've been a professional PHP dev for 11 years now and I've learned a few things about programming from this perspective:

• PHP is the worst language for generating dynamic web content server-side still in heavy use (for so many reasons)
• JS is in almost all cases a worse language than PHP, but its sins are offset by its usefulness in running client-side, thus getting processing load off your server
• node.js must have been a practical joke that got out of control
