@KawaSeadrake As someone who switched to using singular they something like a year ago now... yeah, it's awkward for a long while. It took most of the past year to acclimate myself to it, and I know it still reads and sounds as awkward to others.

I wish there were better options, but this is the best one I know of. It'll get less and less clumsy and awkward feeling as it slowly becomes part of common parlance.

1) Take several sesame bagels
2) cut them all in half
3) put them back together with each half connecting to a different piece
4) add a head and a tail on opposing ends
5) Stick some legs and wings in there somewhere
6) TADA! Sesame noodle dragon. :D

I need to sharpen those tools a bit; a lot of them have grown dull and rusty at this position. I realized this morning that I haven't done work I've been proud of at this company in over a year now, largely due to projects being cancelled or indefinitely postponed over and over again. I guess I really need to face the fact that it's time to move on.
