Fun fact: many clusters of birthdays can be tracked back ~9 months to a holiday. :3

@Felthry I envy the potential you have to live without debt. That is not a privilege I will likely ever have, myself. :x
@Talija They might not be friends to you, but they're friends to me, and I don't appreciate your condescending tone being directed at them.
They have enough on their plate as it is and you know that. What you just did is akin to kicking them while they're down, and my respect for you just plummeted as a result of it.
@Felthry Being in debt is awful, but unless you're super wealthy, all of us are ruled by it.
Even if you're renting, you're paying someone else's debts, and your rent is loosely tied to the value of the land you're renting.
I want to get into a mortgage as soon as possible to maintain some control over my cost of living. That's one example of taking on debt in a deeply beneficial way.
...the debt I took on helping others is among the worst kind of debt, though: credit cards. :x
