I'd spend a long time carefully and meticulously putting on the thinnest possible layer of the highest quality thermal paste on those processors..
I got one of those overclocked to approximately 2x it's original rated speed, air cooled (using an old school copper Zalman), and I think part of the reason I was able to do that was the lack of an inferior thermal coupling surface :3
