Call center work is grueling and soul-destroying work, as anyone who's worked at one will attest. Why is this? Well, call centers are usually a consumer's last resort for help. They've usually already gotten themselves upset before they think to call. Much yelling and grumpiness ensues.

We can help!! If you're having a really good experience with a thing, call the call center and give them positive feedback. It'll totally improve their day, I guarantee it. ♥️

Experiences with ADHD at varying drug levels:

Unmedicated: Unable to focus on nearly anything; quick to frustration when trying to accomplish tasks requiring more than 5 minutes

Properly medicated: I do the HELL out of anything I think about, sometimes before I realize I'm doing it, which can be a problem-- must be conscious of what I'm giving attention to

Undermedicated: Able to focus for short bursts that are then interrupted, unable to re-focus. Crying out of frustration.

I have weapons grade ADHD and lately I've been struggling to focus while on my meds. They also changed from the usual orange to a blue color recently...

Turns out the new manufacturer has produced a TON of complaints from others who're having similar experiences to mine.

I've been driving myself crazy because of how hard it's been to focus lately. It's good to know it's not just me at least!! Now I can get it fixed. :D

If a drug you're prescribed changes in appearance, it's usually because the pharmacy switched to a different manufacturer.

If you're feeling off and your meds changed appearance, it could be the meds! Check online reviews of that manufacturer and drug to see if anyone else is reporting similar symptoms. Arm yourself with knowledge!

Work has calmed down some, but I'm completely unable to focus on anything. Nothing I do in this stack will matter at all in 6 months.

Everything I'm working on right now will be abandoned shortly in favor of a platform written in a language I haven't learned yet… But I still have tasks that seem important, and the choice between "learn about the new stuff" and "do the other things people asked of me" is paralyzing, and really hitting the anxiety buttons HARD.
