Do any of you know good alternatives to "slave"? I dislike the word because of its colonial context. But I imagine a middle-aged man with grey hair and a tuxedo when I think "servant". I'd prefer a word that works well for an obedient naked queer boy with cuffs.

Mastodon is what happens when technology is in the hands of minorities, who have waited way too long for other people to fix this shit, and just said "fuck it we are the cool kids in this place now and y'all Nazis can fuck off".

If everyone says what they'd like CW'd, this can help change the culture towards more CWs, making the whole place more inclusive even of people who cannot handle certain information at all times.

You sound kinda aggressively against this, what exactly irks you about it?

@stonehippo You cannot solve impersonation, but what you can solve is whether new instances not just get federated, but whether your toots even reach those new instances at all. (Especially old ones)
