ughhhh I've been hoping to just pop off this crankset off my old bike to replace it (it's worn) but turns out the threads the crank puller screws into are weaker than the way the crank is wedged onto the spindle

I think the only way to get this off would be to angle grind it

how I feel while waiting for a pipeline to run but I don't wanna start sth new bc it's gonna interrupt me when it's done
