@wxcafe@social.wxcafe.net well right now it is a big deal because many things are still 32bit, especially games (and many can't be updated easily since libraries are only available in 32bit and stuff like that)

@cassolotl@queer.party I don't think it's gonna go away in an utopian society. Some people are just into power exchange or pain play. The bdsm community has a big focus on making sure everything is safe and consensual and there's aftercare and stuff like that? if they're not hurting anyone (who doesn't want them to) and people can act out their fantasies in a safe way that's a good thing
