also the idea of watching a movie letterboxed on a 4:3 CRT was fine for most of my life but these days I can't stand 720p
you ever think about how for a long time 640x480 was a perfectly serviceable resolution for video and suddenly that changed and these days we can watch crisp 4k video taken in someone's living room

I just figured out how to save my mouse's settings to its internal storage (hello custom DPI settings on Linux!) but it takes like 20s to load that config when it's plugged in. You're a mouse, what are you doing in that time?
