@siege@octodon.social I don't think that's a good solution, since you don't know how the text is gonna be used, and you'd be feeding potentially "wrong" data into whatever is at the other end. Not the best example, but some users might just read it instead of looking at the image, for example if they're using a text-only interface. An easy low-tech fix would be to put "(pronounced )" after it?
