tbh now that a lot of the software I use is provided by flatpaks or external repos it's a lot less exciting to upgrade debian
@gra@octodon.social idk I certainly have my issues with Gnome but more in functionality, not so much the design front. Adwaita is some of the prettiest Linux has ever looked and I dig whatever the new theme is called (probably also Adwaita, but flat)
the top-right menu has gotten very Apple (Win 11 has something similar too) but not in a bad way
@gra@octodon.social I don't know why you're telling me that. I think using whitespace effectively is good design, actually
as expected from debian, a pretty painless upgrade and I'm digging the subtly more modern style and interface of the newer Gnome

@xerz nah, I put a thing into uBlock so its stops me, set Android to not allow the app to open and the subs I read are closed anyways
update: the robot has been pet (and also untangled from the cables and the guitar hero controller it wrapped itself in)
