@elilla that said becoming a pirate would be very on brand
@elilla better get a fast boat house then
@elilla I thought you were not a fan of paperwork :P
So I'm sitting here trying to figure out how to tell if a particular app is running in Wayland or XWayland.
This is the answer I get off Stack Overflow. I'm thinking… No. No, that's too silly. It can't be the best way.
I keep researching. It's the best way.
You run xeyes.
Wayland has security that keeps windows from knowing about mouse events in other windows. XWayland doesn't.
Xeyes will track your cursor whenever you're over an XWayland window, then stop if you pass over anything else.
@pup_hime Amigaaaaa
@twi sloppy?? how much input lag does this guy have
@porsupah I mean that doesn't have much to do with my post but most 3D formats have converters that more or less work, you'd probably have to redo or at least adjust the rigging but a cursory search found SL-to-blender converters and I know blender to vrchat is a thing
@porsupah I don't follow
ideal would be some sort of 3D imaging setup so it has my current clothes and comes complete with artifacts and errors, to really make sure people can tell that this is just what I look like outside of the game
@Siph I mean at least it's using it… I spent years with my 8GB R9 390 not even getting close to filling it up
@Siph I don't remember Torren being particularly crashy but also I feel like 16 GB of VRAM should be more than enough for any game lol
@Siph I wasn't on Torren in a while now, I've been all over the place trying to find everything. Last thing I was doing an arena challenge and couldn't even finish that :/
