the character creator is cool at least, thought I would've thought that in 2023 AAA devs could figure out how to make an interface that isn't annoying as heck to use with a mouse
@cinnamon it makes me wanna play No Man's Sky again, which I played for a few hours right after release and have a lot of thoughts about, like, NMS's planets were actually fun to roam around even though there wasn't really anything there, Starfield's planets feel barren in comparison
also it has multi-second loading freezes playing from a hard drive which is just grand because… it doesn't look good enough to warrant that lol
okay so Starfield is pretty meh, I wouldn't play it if I didn't get it for free with my GPU, but the ship interiors are extremely my shit, I could look at all the consoles and different kinds of buttons all day
