@pandora_parrot well, the optics are also a big part of the equation, I think, you can use the same resolution at a bigger or smaller angle… in the end I really just wanna try it

@pandora_parrot I've been looking at the Lenovo Legion glasses as an alternative to a portable monitor for my steam deck (and other devices), they just plug in via USB-C-displayport but I'm a bit skeptical about small text in desktop mode (which is like one of my main use cases, I don't wanna use the tiny built-in screen to edit text n stuff)
@maloki they sent out another wave of free tests by mail, vaccines are still free afaik

@SylvieLorxu doesn't help that macOS doesn't support Vulkan and they moved away from OpenGL (which macOS also doesn't support a halfway current version of)

PSA for anyone who has a Stadia controller: if you want to prevent it from becoming e-waste, you should update it to Bluetooth mode *now*, even if you don't plan on using it yourself anymore - that way it can be used as a stand-alone controller in the future.

@odoben oh yeah, my sd camcorder could be connected to a DVD burner with one of those cables. There's a/b sockets that accept both
