@onfy It's a PCI system with an AGP GPU. I actually have a USB 2 card in there to fix my biggest gripe with it and it works great in ME but locks up XP :D
@onfy I only ever really used ME on it but it always felt pretty good, the nvidia 2MX in there sadly didn't do DX9 but what I could play ran well. I have beef with whoever decided to sell it with 128 megabytes of RAM though
@onfy actually I have no idea how that compares with a PII, but with a decent amount of RAM XP is pretty alright on it (a bit annoying to not have SSE2)
@onfy yeah it runs a pretty zippy (for Windows ME) Athlon XP
@onfy mine did suspend-to-ram with no issues but suspend to disk broke sometimes so I stopped using it
@onfy I wonder what they had to do for that, probably support more c-states or sth :D

@pyrex yeah, especially in a pretty expensive tool with a good reputation to lose! Like, in VS Code I expect it cuz it's free and Microsoft's vehicle to push their bullshit on people
@pyrex I used PHPstorm for the first time today and the first time it showed me was that AI ad (completely worthless for them cuz even if I wanted it – I'm on a work license) and wow, that's a horrible first impression
@anne is it not? it's what I'd recommend to most people still
@foone they did something like that for bee movie but they had people draw each frame
@PHIL_FISH the AI announcer stuff is a shame because the destructible environment actually heavily playing into gameplay is amazing
I also really like being able to put widgets on the desktop and the fact that they turn monochrome when they lose focus, it's the perfect spot for calendar + weather info
ooo macos has a shark screensaver / wallpaper now
