@elilla you just put tin on the tip? I don't think there's anything to it
at the small manufacturer where I learnt to solder they had some leaded solder around to clean tips that seemed to work much better than the unleaded stuff but it might've just had more flux in it. I also really like those copper sponges to clean tips instead of wet sponges

@sleepycyborg you'd think most phones can. It's irrelevant if it survives since you won't be getting it out unharmed anyways
@Siph like I'd love to use Signal more (esp over Whatsapp where I only have one groupchat left) but it's just not happening for now

@pup_hime most stores replaced them a few years ago
once we bought the last xbox 360 controller at the mediamarkt and since it was the display model we haggled the price down a little and the salesperson just changed it and told us to wait for the tag to change, that was funny
the whole walmart electronic price tag thing is so weird to me like you didn't already have those? every store around here has them
