@esden Congratulations! Looking forward to get mine
Apple will be allowing third-party app marketplaces on the iPad in the European Union in iPadOS 18, with beta testers getting a chance to look at the feature in iPadOS 18 beta 2.

Netflix can now serve 100Gbit/s of video (so something like 12,500 individual 4K streams) with an appliance using 100 watts of power. That’s 8 milliwatts for each 4K stream.
Remember that number the next time someone tells you that watching a Netflix show is as bad as driving an SUV or some shit.
@elilla yeah I doubt it's the solder. Does the tip look shiny? all mine came out of the box with a mirror finish (obvs they won't stay that way lol)
@elilla ah, rosin-free
@elilla I have the cheapest stuff from reichelt lol
Felder ISO-Core "EL", (gotta note that it's rosin-core and rosin gives you cancer)
@mcc I'm a big fan of quad9.net personally
@dogo like don't get me wrong I've used awful keyboards before but they do make alright rubber dome scissor switches
@packetcat sickos yes dot png
we love to see it
@pup_hime *petpetpet*
@dogo I mean the cheap Cherry keyboard that looks like this is like 10€ and while it's not a joy to type on it gets the job done
@dogo that doesn't look too bad
@elilla okay, hm, my pinecil tips took solder immediately so I'm not sure what the problem is
sick
@murz thank you, me too! I'm only mildly sick so I'm just chilling but it's getting old, ngl
@elilla oof, good luck
@elilla you don't use flux-core solder?
also there's this lovely 3D-printable carrying case available online with different configurations to choose from, really nice to just throw the whole thing in a bag with everything you need https://www.printables.com/de/model/345083
@elilla you just put tin on the tip? I don't think there's anything to it
at the small manufacturer where I learnt to solder they had some leaded solder around to clean tips that seemed to work much better than the unleaded stuff but it might've just had more flux in it. I also really like those copper sponges to clean tips instead of wet sponges
