@codl regular monster? we definitely still have it without any fake sugar, not that I like the normal stuff much (I sometimes get The Doctor though that shit rules)
@codl French monster has aspartame?
@pup_hime they have good reasons for the switch and Inter is pretty too
I don't even use gnome rn
@pup_hime aw, I really liked Cantarell
@trysdyn webdev here javascript only does that when it's in extreme distress (it always is)
following Slovenia, now Germany also has hit the threshold! Which doesn't really mean anything formally - 7 countries is enough - but it definitely shows the commission, and local politicians, that there is interest in this
The next one that is close is Sweden, I believe, and generally, there are still ~140k signatures needed. Not a done deal, not by any stretch of the imagination, even if there continues to be a huge push, it's going to be close - but possible.
@deanerschnitzel oh this post is about me wanting to see Germany turn green
@codl you still need more beef?
@codl it's one of the better decisions on this dashboard
By the way, since I know there's a lot of Germans on Mastodon:
The need right now on the EU citizen petition against anti-LGBTQ "conversion therapy" ( https://mastodon.social/@mcc/114512352419261539 ) is raw votes from anywhere. BUT as it happens Germany's currently the closest %-wise to being the 8th country to endorse the petition!
15.5k DE votes would turn Germany green on this map, and send a pro-LGBTQ message to German lawmakers¹:
¹ DE already has a local law banning gay/trans conversion therapy against minors.
@codl so they can put their cool logo in the middle
Okay big news on the EU citizen petition to ban the use of "conversion therapy" (IE "curing" or perhaps "torturing into submission") on LGBTQs—
BE, NL and SI came through and last night the initiative *met* the 7 countries goal! It needs 330,000 more signatures before the 17th to pass, which sounds rough, but it's got *420,887* in just 5 days, so things are actually on a good pace. This will at least be really close, and this could happen!
EU citizens can sign at: https://eci.ec.europa.eu/043/public/#/screen/home
@codl god this takes me back to /g/ ricing threads
@Siph eeeh simulator games are pretty serviceable these days but especially truck/train sims have core communities that will spend a lot of money on dlc so I assume they just have way bigger budgets than the average one
@halcy iirc they even stop being bluetooth when talking to apple devices
I haven't seen many people boost that FUD "Someone popped Steam and is selling logins" article like I've seen in other places (cookie for y'all), but just to make absolutely sure: the leak was old text messages to validate logins and link phone numbers to accounts; no passwords, no other info.
If you want to change your Steam password and shuffle your 2FA feel free but the severity of the breach/leak was vastly overblown by a game of telephone through four or five media entities punching up the severity of the event to get clicks.
