@jacqueline well, the LG phones used it to select their higher-quality DAC (dunno how well it worked, my EU version didn't get that) which did have more power
@jacqueline can you detect the impedance of the connected headphones and use that to switch to a higher limit? I think some LG phones used to do that
@cinnamon ours are mostly just 50Hz (though there's one that does PAL60 at my parents's) but they basically all have RGB which is awesome
@idesofmerch cw for raw chicken https://youtu.be/NZD0_qN7smk
@idesofmerch wet hand dry hand method! if you only use one hand for the wet ingredients and the other hand for the dry ones you won't bread your hand in the process
@cinnamon try getting an S-Vid cable for whatever you hook up to it, it's a noticeable step up from composite
@cinnamon if you have a console that can run the 240p test suite it's great for calibrating TVs https://artemiourbina.itch.io/240p-test-suite
wow, someone modded SMB1 into being Celeste https://youtu.be/kvW6yscm6AA
@cinnamon pots is short for potentiometer (i.e. a variable resistor, though they could also be variable capacitors I guess). You stick a flathead screwdriver in there to adjust the picture
@cinnamon I've never seen a TV with an amp for external speakers before, that's fun
@cinnamon those aren't inputs, they're trim pots
re: Clueless queer asks, was this flirting?
@dragonmagic sounds like it lol
I probably won't be using them much because at home I have speakers and in the office I use headphones but still, in the year of Luigi 2023 laptop speakers don't have to be terrible? also they advertise them as having Dolby Audio and being partnered with Harman Kardon… do they do some driver magic on Windows?
