@pup_hime it's been around forever, my Grandma had a soda-club machine when I was a kid. Also wikipedia says the carbonated soft drink came first, I don't think pressurized containers of co2 for home use were feasible in the late 1700s
it's kinda funny that a ton of stores will just sell you a bottle of pressurized co2 for home use just because someone figured out you can totally carbonate water at home

So with Cohost shutting down in about 24 hours, a note to every remaining social media site: You should totally rip off the "Following" pane.
Cohost had a view where (as alternative to the normal linear feed), it showed everyone you follow, sorted by last post, and you could click to see recent posts. A problem with social media is the more you post, the more space you take up. Cohost "Following" made everyone take up the same amount of space, while still prioritizing recency. A nice compromise

@luna it's not really in active development anymore either, but it seems to be working alright rn, and it did get the editing features and a few fixes for 3.5
@luna Toot! doesn't seem to have numbers in the first place. It has some interesting UI decisions but it's been the iOS app I've been using the most
