slightly weird food, vegetarian

the packaging talked these up too much but they weren't bad

@onfy okay but as harsh as that might sound that's their problem, not mine, not yours. Sure, no one can learn everything but we're talking about electrically connecting two points, you can do that with a piece of metal you found on the ground and sticky tape

@onfy I don't think I want to stop believing in people's potential to learn things and encouraging and supporting them to do so

tech, sweary

@nivex I've never looked forward to a future Linus rant more

@onfy @Neo01 if it's got a digital menu there should be a service menu with all the settings, just try every remote combination people list online. Keep in mind that some overscan is by design and cheap tvs usually just have more of it

@jacqueline for gaming I'd use something with newer software than debian. probably just arch or fedora

Finally getting around to reading the Hard Wired Island rulebook and the setting and philosophy of the game obviously rules but the mechanics seem very well thought-out too. I really wanna try running a game of this

@Stereoscopic thanks! there's definitely bunny burrows and swallow nests

Bahn, leichter rant

@thunfisch letztes Jahr fuhr definitiv Zusatzverkehr, ist aber halt trotzdem voll

an inconsequential thing that irks me is when people call every text input method on a number pad "T9" when T9 is a specific kind of predictive text and most people mean multi-tap
