@mynameistillian sweet, good luck!
@mynameistillian if you end up near Aachen say hi!
@mynameistillian god these websites are confusing, but long term residence permits allow up to 90 days of "non-profit" travel in the entire Schengen area
@mynameistillian if you don't plan on going to multiple Schengen countries it seems to be the same thing?
idk
@kadse gibt's wahrscheinlich sogar schon
@mynameistillian pretty sure most government forms are like that
@verity dolphins are (toothed) whales!
@pandora_parrot cool Outer Wilds art!
@ashly real Pyroceram can be used on a stovetop, a dishwasher is nothing compared to that, there's some Corningware that's glazed stoneware according to Wikipedia and only meant for baking. I'd still be surprised if it wasn't dishwasher safe
the small casserole dish I have is just straight up white pyrex, but clearly inspired by Corningware design
@ashly okay, I looked it up, I think I even have a piece of Pyroceram and it definitely dishwashes
@ashly idk what that is, do yo7 mean pyrex?
@ashly not all plastics are created equal and it took quite some time to develop ones that hold up to microwaves and dishwashers
@ashly nowadays good plastic containers are ubiquitous but back then I think they actually had a superior product. My parents have some ancient Tupperware that still holds up
aachen-politik
@ashly really depends on the area. Sounds like they never exclusively sold through parties (but they were their main retail channel). For instance, in the UK they stopped parties altogether in 2003 http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/2685755.stm
if it says "Tupperware" on there it's the real deal afaik, the ones I know have pretty prominent branding
@ashly ppl tend to give it a pass because the product is actually useful
@ashly it's not only that but also technically an MLM
re: Snacks, DE for some reason.
@ashly there's a Dutch word, "lekker" which isn't quite the same, it means "delicious" (like the German one) as well as "nice" and "comfortable"
