@mwichary EXIF has an ImageDescription field that seems to be specifically for that purpose. I don't know if anything uses it

it also means that the moon isn't just a bright disc in the night sky, it's got detail that is instantly recognizable. And the back has way more craters bc it catches all kinds of space rocks before they reach us

it's kind of fucked up that (most) humans only ever get to see one side of the moon. like the universe game developer decided that it's far enough away, we can get away with billboarding
