it's probably a bad thing if one program can hog the entire internet bandwith to the point where other programs report no internet connection
still need a name for this box, though "Optiplex" in itself is a pretty dang good name, might just go with that
not the worst specs and temps tbh
only thing missing is a Core 2 Quad, I got a cheap Q6600 on eBay that I'm planning to hardware-mod to run at 3GHz (apparently that's a thing), four cores should help with modern games

it apparently runs on Android two-something, and it has a hecking menu button. there's even a root exploit but I didn't wanna break it, so I didn't try that
gosh the Sony e-reader I have is really crashy but it has pretty good UX. It's only a few taps to auto-crop PDFs or to make it zoom over the page's columns, which helps a lot on the tiny low-res screen

@noiob the answer is the rice stays dry and doesn't soak up much water, and you just end up with hard uncooked grains of rice that are now wet and sticking to things because of the water's surface tension.

@noiob i feel like people who actually do the phone in rice thing haven't actually... thought about what happens when rice grains get even the slightest bit wet.
