That is, I propose that even solely by entering the fediverse with its content as it is, gab threatens the existence of other instances (federated timeline, anyone?) and that of general fediverse apps.
Now if gab wasn't a hellpit of hate speech, porn-illegal-in-some-major-jurisdictions, plausibly just generally illegal porn given its audience? That would be shitty and a point should be made of defending its right to exist.

also, here's a thing on "is it right for Toot! to decide to block logging in on gab servers": if it doesn't, it risks being blacklisted from app stores in the exact same way gab's own app did, as Apple/Google might decide that given it enables access to the content over there, it's functionally the same app. Especially once this gets press attention.
I'd preorder the game cuz I kinda want the touchpen but then again having it on a cart would be pretty inconvenient
