Mastodon web UI users: if your account started off with the newer "unified" view, with all the timelines combined into a single column, have you since switched to the multi-column "advanced" view?
I still think it's cool that the Google Maps zoomed-out sattelite "globe" view has live* cloud patterns
*probably with like up to 30 mins delay, weather radars don't update that often

the virgin hyperloop vs the chad literally any high speed rail system build in the last two decades
they even look cool
and they run super smooth (they have to, they go 200 mph) like holy shit check that hyperloop video it's bumpy as heck
the hyperloop test is hilarious to me because Europe has had way faster and super comfortable intercity trains for ages
like, a scanner is big and expensive and I don't actually want one? and my phone even does whiteboards and stuff like that
it's wild to me that unless you're scanning a lot of things (or things other than b/w text) a good smartphone camera replaces a scanner while being a lot more user-friendly, just point it at the page and it'll scan automatically, and you immediately get a pdf you can send to people
I guess instead of building a cooling system that could handle an Intel chip boosting Apple built a cooler chip
