more Uncharted: Golden Abyss thoughts, spoilers
I was gonna complain that Uncharted: Golden Abyss ripped off the "some things aren't meant to be found" storyline from Tomb Raider, but it turns out that quote is from the second movie which came out after Golden Abyss
I still dislike how Golden Abyss handles it. The second Tomb Raider movie doesn't have a good plot by any means, it's almost entirely carried by the lead actors being very good, but they still make a more profound point than Golden Abyss's "ah well this archeological treasure is dangerous, let's blow it up instead"
and like, I get that Golden Abyss's writing is clearly focusing on the characters and their relationships but you could? do both? and also I guess they could've not have the only other woman in the game want to fuck Nathan Drake at the end but y'know
can't argue with the numbers
like, there are no numbers, but at least the axes are labeled?

Uncharted: Golden Abyss gameplay
god, this game has so much combat and the combat system is not deep enough
you can carry one rifle and one sidearm which makes most of the "special" weapons useless, because they clog up a slot that is desperately needed
also my right dpad button is broken, which means I can't swap to my rifle unless a different rifle is lying around (which happens often enough)
still, this is tiring and the only thing they change over time is giving the enemies more health/armor
I say this and immediately get a part where you paddle a boat by swiping on the rear touchpad
someone from the N-Gage community generously reflashed my softbricked QD for me so I'm a very happy handheld collector rn
I guess you can play the impressive PSP ports of Anniversary and Legend, and I also guess we should be happy that they didn't try to port TR (2013) considering the nVidia Shield port
