GOTY list
before the year ends, here's some of the games I played this year that I enjoyed:
It's a really nice way to play Tetris, but it's also an audiovisual experience
2D isn't dead! An incredibly smooth and well-paced Metroidvania, Samus moves like butter through this wonderfully detailed world that's full of secrets
a stylish photography game with an all-too-relevant story told in a unique way
an adorable photography game that is first of all a love letter to the original
It's RE4 levels of camp, some good horror and great gameplay. Exactly what a modern RE game should be, but also not much more
(it's basically an ad for Samsung fridges, Tetris and against food waste, but hey) https://tetris.com/article/273/stock-your-fridge-with-nostalgia-samsung-partners-with-tetris-to-create-samsung-stackers
these don't seem like the most practical Tupperware but they do gain some in coolness points
unavailable in Germany though https://www.yesiwantit.com/samsung-stackers-in-collaboration-with-tetristm
Covid19 vaccine availability
Patent-free vaccine released to the world--interesting how mainstream media didn't cover this.

Microsoft wins this one for me, they get the point across with so little visual clutter, scales down nicely and probably even works well in monochrome
this has got to be one of the least-readable Apple Color Emoji, holy shit https://emojipedia.org/petri-dish/
