Also this gameplay loop just works, they cut all the crud from Pokémon and built it back up with new, fun mechanics. You can tell it's an experiment but they worked around their limitations really well as far as I've seen. Like, the fact that there's only one 'city' works in the lore and instead of reaching new cities you just improve the one you have

also noted: the communication thingy (visible in the bowling video) is pretty basic but easy to use while playing and I don't think the game needs more

I also played tennis which was definitely the weakest one, I felt like it misread my inputs a bunch and also I lost after having a comfortable lead. Still, probably fine. I would've preferred ping-pong

swordfighting has three different sword setups (regular, power sword and two swords) but it's fundamentally the same as in Resort and that's good
