mozilla keeps saying its new "AI Help" feature is "trained on MDN articles" or "limited to MDN content", which makes it sound like they trained their own model or at least fine-tuned it

but that's not what's happening — as far as i can tell, what they actually do is find a couple MDN articles relevant to your question, send the ENTIRE CONTENTS off to ChatGPT, and ask it nicely IN ENGLISH to answer the question using only what's in those articles

Heads up to other #mastoadmin friends - today's Mastodon security upgrade introduces a dependency on a version of Imagemagick that's not available in long-term support versions of Ubuntu. You'll need to find a way to upgrade to a version of Imagemagick that's not available in your OS.

Something neat to be aware of if you have a modded DSi or 3DS is that if you are running a DS game from TWiLight Menu, it can actually make use of the cartridge hardware that is currently plugged in if the game needs it!

For example, games that use the IR sensor built into games like Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver, Black/2 and White/2, and a couple other games that use the NTR-031 IR-capable cartridge.

Therefore if you have even one of those cartridges and want to play another game that supports infrared communication, it will work by just leveraging the IR capability of the cartridge currently plugged into the system.
