using my Deck as a computer again, I like KDE's configurability but I find that I usually prefer Gnome's defaults

Like, the Gnome alt-tab overlay switches applications and opens a submenu for switching that application's windows when you hit alt+` on it. KDE has alt+` but you can't have the window switchers use it

KDE's features are mostly a lot more thought-out and I'm sure if I actually used some of the power user features like activities and virtual desktops I'd really like them but… I don't lol. I use Gnome on my work laptop and I've really grown to love it there

I think I still prefer the fastmail webapp though, and I just realized you can set it as the handler for mailto links

it's better for email. It's actually brilliant for email, the new modern layout looks great
