I am the biggest "AI" sceptic but this has been kinda like smarter autocomplete for parameters and such, and it seems to be tuned to be less eager so it doesn't get in the way.

yes I do! LineageOS still gives Root over ADB. Feels wild to issue AT commands to my SIM to edit the on-board address book :D

new phone time! got the "Aloe" Pixel 8a, retiring my 4a 5G (with the trade-in offer it's a really good deal)
still hope the 8a's gonna last longer than the old one, its handset speaker died and the battery isn't great anymore. It's supposed to have 7 years of software support at least, so that's neat, also I think they're gonna have official parts on iFixit
