Netflix can now serve 100Gbit/s of video (so something like 12,500 individual 4K streams) with an appliance using 100 watts of power. That’s 8 milliwatts for each 4K stream.
Remember that number the next time someone tells you that watching a Netflix show is as bad as driving an SUV or some shit.

Trivial digital electronics question:
What's the name of a digital IC that has 8 inputs, 8 outputs and a single enable pin, so that depending on the signal on the enable pin, the levels on the outputs are either:
- the same as on the inputs
- all low
I'm sure that such a thing must exist, but I can't find it. And I know that I can use eight and-gates, but I don't want to connect 30 pins when in theory 20 should be enough.
it's wild that no one figured out how to install software on windows without stealing your focus

the upcoming Zelda game looks kinda like the 2D BotW prototype, it wouldn't surprise me at all if it was a direct result of more experimentation with more puzzle-y mechanics
also I kind of have a deadline where I wanna have a working PC (Dawntrail release)
oh ffs, I got a bunch of parts to fix my PC (it had crashing issues and It's probably the board, so I replaced most parts bc I'm not gonna buy another AM4 board) and now the new parts don't POST at all

part of that is that apple is smart and often auto-converts to normal jpegs when you share photos
