“If you are revolted by the fact that Jeff Bezos can’t think of any way to spend his money except by starting his own space program while his warehouse workers toil in misery, you simply do not understand basic economics, which says that this is fine and natural and inevitable. If you find it gross and unacceptable that there are homeless people sleeping in front of empty luxury condo buildings, you’re naïve, irrational, unrealistic.”
“For centuries, the right has relied on the same tactic to preserve the status quo: convincing people that a better world is simply impossible. They tell us that while it may look perverse to have a society in which some people eat $2,000 gold-flake pizzas while others die from being unable to afford medical treatment, it is simply The Best We Can Do, and it is futile and naive to protest.”

my N-Gage QD experience (thread)
The phone will also run J2ME apps, so I'm hoping to find the one MMC I own to get meBoy running, but I haven't found it yet and there's almost no internal storage.
I'm looking forward to trying more n-Gage games, not sure if I'll actually buy originals, since a lot of them are dirt cheap on ebay, but it's also apparently really easy to jailbreak the device.
If anyone has any questions or wants me to try something I'd be happy to help.
my N-Gage QD experience (thread)
A big problem with the game is that someone apparently thought that "hold down forward to run forward, release to stop" was not ideal for a phone. So in this version one has to tap backwards on the D-pad to stop going forward, which is really hard to get used to. I've fallen off ledges repeatedly because of this weird-ass design decision. And no, it can't be turned off.
my N-Gage QD experience
So I've been playing Tomb Raider on the N-Gage QD for quite a bit now, and also used the phone in general, and I have to say it's pretty neat. Symbian means that it actually multitasks, I can get out of the game with one button press, type up an SMS, take a call and instantly jump back into the game.
The game itself looks pretty good, the 3D works well (and doesn't glitch around like on the PSX) but it does have performance issues at times. Nothing too distracting. (cont.)
