also I'm still conflicted about Shadow of the Tomb Raider, it's so much better than its predecessors in many ways, but making it through that game still felt like a chore… I really wanna find out why I felt that way. Maybe I'll play NG+ at some point and end up loving it, maybe I just got sick of AAA games?
thinking about my games of the year post for this year makes me painfully aware of all the games I didn't get around to playing
