I was talking to someone months ago about how they wished that there were more programs like Scrivener, ie. that each scene/chapter is a separate document & that you can view the documents all at once. at the time, I suggested using styles & outline.
However, TIL that it's possible to have a setup like that in LibreOffice (& cursory websearch tells me that it's available in MS Word too). it's called Master Document.
