Etsy shop launch, begpost, COVID-19, please boost
Hey everybody.
I told my manager I'm not coming in during the COVID-19 stay at home order, whether or not corporate thinks we're essential.
In the meantime, I'm setting up an Etsy shop to sell zines and hopefully support myself from here on out.
Each zine is $5, and I'm offering free shipping to the US. I plan on selling digital download-and-read PDFs soon as well. I've got two zines so far with more to come as the week goes on.

if the economy can’t handle us taking care of the people, or comes *before* taking care of the people, the economy is bad and we should stop fucking doing it?
we need some kind of signifier for "this email is just a receipt" so I can filter them into a separate folder

to be fair Thunar is great and just lets me replace the "open terminal here" shortcut with my terminal hardcoded, I love Thunar which is why I use it instead of the default Gnome 3 one (nautilus?)

ah great thunar segfaults when I try to open a Terminal in a folder, it's probably something broken with exo-open but I'm not actually using xfce so I'm not gonna debug that

Germany officially has physical distancing with enforcement now, two people max outside (unless same household), keep 1.5 ("better 2") m distance, sports is fine, the whole thing
I like that the Merkel is not going all "we're at war" but instead emphasizes that this is a measure of compassion and solidarity, but it still hits pretty hard
