still very happy with the results, the rainbow effect looks great in person

the parts are from https://eoe.works, though I'm not super happy with the quality, one of the threads on the back is positioned slightly wrong so the screw doesn't go in, the front has microscratches (though that'd happen soon anyways with these) and the iPod Mini click wheel was the wrong color a bit cracked (didn't matter since I only needed parts of it)

my solution seems to be hitting some limitation in PHP's regex implementation but since I only need the number of matches I just pasted it in https://regex101.com and got the number from there lol
