also the story is so barebones it couldn't be any less. Like, it would be half a page written down, and there's so much boring gameplay around it
it has some really cool ideas like the cooperative puzzle-solving where you have to switch between the two characters, and it's one of the first games I know of that basically use QTEs, and it would be a lot worse if you couldn't save basically anywhere (no way to skip the cutscenes though, which sucks if you saved before one)
also the final boss is on a tight ten minute timer, uses all your health and ammo (you basically have to save it all for that fight) and is a huge bullet sponge
