can someone please make a wireless file transfer standard that's faster than Bluetooth but as ubiquitous (or more, looking at you, iPhone)? like, I can still copy files off of my ancient Nokias, how is there no open standard for "I want a file from my phone to show up on this here computer"

also gosh the Pixel 8 is a really good phone with a stellar camera system… my 4a 5G isn't broken though and I kinda really want a flippy boi
it's still a very welcome feature and the fact that it's just an USB video device that works with any of my computers including my iPad with zero setup is amazing
Android phones having a USB webcam mode now is awesome but I'm a bit miffed that it took them until Apple made a fancy wireless version of that
