but let's get back to the games, which all had some high-polygon-count renders to go with them. No pointy bits here! (technically, everything from 2 on was non-pointy, but hey, that classic triangle boob look is still a meme)
The old movies do have their strong parts, like, for instance, Angelina Jolie who plays Original Lara really well. I mean there's also the plot, but as an okay action movie they're both a good time. The first one is way better though https://awoo.space/media/6wQdvdDtBhRruBkvf9Q
oh yeah, btw, this is purely a Tomb Raider fan account now (cw eye contact) https://awoo.space/media/OrNBb7nV93dXSXAFj8Q
It was good, Alicia Vikander is a great actress and perfect as Reboot Lara Croft. The script was decent, it focused on the original story bit really well.
The daddy issues didn't overshadow the film but we're certainly annoying, and hopefully won't be the motivation for the second one, which was teased nicely.
Also it had a ton of fanservice, good action scenes, an actual tomb that was pretty Classic Tomb Raider. I'd like to see another one of these, please.
Also the 3D gave me a headache

Speaking of phones, here's one I actually own and still use occasionally as a backup device, since it's perfect for that job!
The Nokia 1100 is apparently the most successful phone ever(?) and it's built to last. It's a very basic phone even for its time, but it has a neat dust-proof keypad and it's the first phone with a built-in keypad! It also comes with Snake 2 and an editor for ringtones, but mine doesn't play ringtones for some reason so I couldn't try that.
bonus points for putting something Firefox-OS-based on it and not something horrible like S40

neko atsume was the pinnacle of mobile gaming tbh. no pressure to keep up with power creep, no need to play constantly, no skeevy game design centred around getting people to dump money on the game for fear of missing out on content
