heck, I already forgot what kind of settings in msconfig made it boot
I have no idea what exactly I did but Windows ME reinstalled drivers and stuff and it seems to be booting again, yay! I think my wifi card is toast, bleh
Windows ME does have the best branding of any Windows version
I feel like this Windows ME installation is cursed (and if anyone tells me that yes, it's Windows ME I'll block you)
why does the Windows ME installer have drivers for my mouse but the system doesn't

What you should not forget is that: public posts are public, private posts may still be public if sent to dishonest servers, DMs are not protected by encryption and rely on both involved instance's honesty.
If you allow everyone to follow you your data may get mined just as on the commercial platforms.
If you have a commercial bot (in disguise) in your followers, it will see and mine those toots.
Just being a federation is no silver bullet to the privacy issue. But ou aren't the product anymore.
oh, apparently the Pixel Launcher has an uninstall/ remove shortcut if you drag an icon and flick it upwards, that's super handy on a large phone where dragging onto the thingy on top is a pain

mastodon feature request to aid accessibility: have a way to expand the whole image WHILE typing up the alt-text so you can transcribe text in images without having to go back-and-forth
it's so hecking dark that my monitor shuts off all the time (and yes I've set it to maximum brightness)
neat, Mastodon is sending me all notifications twice, and in one version newline gets replaced with space, in one version it doesn't
