I've finished the "huge armada, complex paintjob" set of minis (a PHR fleet for Dropfleet Commander) I've been working on for literally-years, and it's.. A weird feeling.

Still gotta varnish some parts, still got the modular bits that need painting (I magnetize everything because I'm a nerd), but like.. It's finished, tbh. I think the Kickstarter box arrived like, 2-3 years ago, and it's been a steady "on and off, but regular" painting project since, with other painting scattered in-between.

Ever since I left Uni (and after like, 25 or so, going to Uni clubs I used to attend felt kinda awkward even as an alumni), I'm kinda.. "So, how do I.. Social.. Thing? Hm."

Which isn't to say that I was amazing at it in Uni, but the structured social aspect was a huge boon that I don't have any equivalent to.

The amount of love it pours into squeezing All The Batmobiles into a wonderful-ridiculous hail mary run in the last 2 issues is definitely up there.

It's one of the few comics that manages to have its fanservice and eat/deconstruct it.
