@Azure ...I see a lot of pictures of foxes and they very rarely lead to an emotional response as strong as this one.

My body should mesh with my thought
And this current junk really does not
It's taking a toll
I want to feel whole
So doctor, please build me a slot.

I like that whether it's plurality, nonhuman, gender, orientation... I value being able to say something that would be so, SO radical and wild to most folks on this planet, but in these spaces I'm just.. valid. No proving anything, no worrying about boundaries.

"I'm a Synthetic Neptunian toy otter, Pansexual and ve/ver or they/them pronouns"
"Oh, awesome cool"

It's so beautiful like...every time haha

Periodic reminder that in "Jurassic Park", when Lex says "It's a UNIX system!", she's right; what's on the screen is fsn, a graphical file browser for SGI IRIX-based computers. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fsn_(fil

Developers: Great, more timezones to support.

@packetcharmer@witches.town @Oneironott I didn't realize they were something you could DIY.

Every once in a while, still, I'll close my eyes and see the solar eclipse from August hanging in front of me.

I also feel like this is the kind of thing that's better to let percolate for a while than to just blast through.

I started playing GENDERWRECKED and it seems pretty cool but also something I can only really engage with in short bursts.

Alternately "Yeah if you don't like the first episode it's probably just not a thing you'll enjoy."

or "Just start from season 2, really. Here's a link to a s1 synopsis which has everything you need."

I thing I'd like to see become more common when people recommend media, especially long-running stuff: saying how far in you have to get before you'll know whether you like it or not. Alternately, where to start if the beginning sucks.

e.g. "Hey so I like thing for <reasons>. If you give it a shot start from the beginning but please give it until episode 8 or so before deciding whether it's your thing; it starts off a bit rough."

@Azure The two-part episode "Mirror Gem / Ocean Gem" midway through s1 is when it gets good.
