Time to figure out how to use masto as a game engine.
@Efi It has been years since I've forum RP'd. Maybe have a clear sandbox-style game with a defined map, and you have to either use a hashtag for the location you are in when you do stuff, or a cw with the location's name, so anyone who is in that location can see what other people are doing there? That may be too convoluted.

@jk It's almost like Nintendo heard about GaiaOnline from the early 2000s and thought, "We should do something like that on a phone with Miis!" and stopped thinking it through right there.
@jk If it had been primarily focused on being a chat program, almost snapchat-ish, and removed the gamified currency-for-clothes things and let people just have all the clothes (or made everything way cheaper), it could have had more staying power for me and my friends. We would have sent MORE cartoony lewds.
@jk It let me wear a gothic lolita maid outfit and pose in cartoony lewds, though, so I guess we all won/lost together.

When we took a break for dinner, I told her, "Moana's dad told her not to go beyond the reef because he loves her and wants to keep her safe, right?"
"Yeah."
"But Moana wants to try new things, and that's okay. So if YOU ever want to try new things, tell me and I'll listen. I'll help you. I want you to be safe, but I also want you to be happy."
I saw Moana last night and goodness you can feel Lin-Manuel Miranda in every note. Very very well-written music.
Also I'm a sucker for Jemaine Clement.
