the first is like a classic DnD campaign, but it grows into a pretty elaborate story spanning multiple planes of existence, and ends up having some really fantastic production

it's a nice length too--69 episodes

after that, they do a few mini-arcs to try out different games--and finally settle on a more story based monster of the week game where they hunt down supernatural creatures while trying to keep their existence under wraps

@tom i'll admit it starts pretty slow, but the things at the beginning are important enough to start there

if you're wondering when things stop being so slow, "murder on the rockport limited" is about when things really get going! (and it gets better and better pretty consistently from that point--and becomes legit the best thing i've ever listened to!)

@noiob @earfolds oh yeah! i got roflstomped by more than a few arch updates before i realized there was an rss feed i should be paying attention to

their design goals were for simplicity from a development perspective, which unfortunately doesn't always translate to users

pacman is extremely fast though, and their wiki is top notch

tbh, i didn't use arch for very long--but i do know a few people who like it a lot, despite its occasional update weirdness

i think once every other day is about average, though i'm definitely above that

i'm probably biased though, since i also go to things like kink events, have lots of time to myself in general

ahh! i feel like i've really been on top of things lately!

normally, i feel rushed, and constantly trying to catch up--but even with an unreasonably full schedule, i've managed to shake that

turns out, gradually improving your circumstances is absolutely worth it if you can do it!

sometimes it can be hard to convince yourself that you deserve changes like that, or that they're even worth the effort to do, but even little things eventually add up to a pretty major positive change!

i just finished a full week of full-time programming work, and still want to work on side-projects!

i think i'm finally 100% back from my multi-year run-in with burnout!

it's interesting that something i used to be so scared would isolate me is actually where a large portion of my social circles come from now

kink communities are baller!

my irl social circles are so much larger than they would have probably been without them, and i even host munches now!

it's pretty much the exact opposite of what i expected would happen
