@noiob aww, partychu returns!
@monorail hee. happy to help..! ^^
@monorail veekun might have what you're looking for. it has a gzipped database that might be interesting to you: https://veekun.com/dex/downloads
the github also has csv versions of all of the data iirc: https://github.com/veekun/pokedex/tree/master/pokedex/data/csv
lightly spoily for the level; design talk
oh yeah, i also liked toying with the different ways you could give the player one-ups, there's a few of them scattered around!
lightly spoily for the level; design talk
i put in the concept of high road, low road, where the top is fast and satisfying, and where the bottom is more aesthetic
i also wanted to make sure you couldn't get into situations where you needed to restart the level
it's a pretty long course, but the idea was to maximize the parts of mario that i personally find fun, so i hope you all enjoy it! ^^
@noiob huh! slick

the reaction after the poll was closed and this mascot was excluded was...not pretty :s
i finished dming my first session of dnd, and aside from a kind of rough start, i'm actually really proud with how it turned out!
i had to invent a bajillion npcs to weave into the campaign i'm following on the spot, but i apparently managed to do it in a way that was completely transparent and my players didn't even know that i did it~
@snugcrow oh! good luck..!
@EeveeDefender adding to the list:

@EeveeDefender thank you, i love them ❤️
i like very much how a lot of species have accredited cuddliness ratings on gbif
- maybe
@noiob that's kind of why it's a milestone ^^
it's pretty vital for survivability, plus it opens up your opponents to being hit very easily if they so much as touch it with a move that has any sort of lag
it's better to throw it out too much than not at all, but remember that you can still be grabbed through it
- maybe
@noiob i know that was probably just an example, but if it's literally smash, i find effective shielding is basically a milestone
another one is attacking immediately after your opponent fails to hit you--because a lot of moves have a lot of ending lag
the above two play into each other a lot, like if you have a shield out, and anyone hits it, you can basically smack em for free with whatever you like, even smashes!
and lastly, don't approach wildly--maybe bait out a move or mix it up!
oh hi! i do computers, and sometimes draw stuff~ i like lo-fi things and cute aesthetics!
i also probably like you
