@noiob i never even knew that was a thing! that would have been really handy
i just bundled two pokemon games, a pretty elaborate rom hack of crystal, and a few zelda games
the screen was big enough that i could play without too many issues, and a d-pad with a button in the middle worked really well for pokemon
i don't think i did anything with the zelda games i put into it though
@noiob oh! i forgot what it was called, but i think that's the emulator i used too!
and aww, i never ran into a crash with it, but that sounds like a bit of a bummer :s
@noiob i got one game that was kinda like the old metal gear games for NES, it was pretty slick
i also got a version of megaman 2 that was very hard to play in that form-factor
then again, i did so much silly stuff with j2me that wasn't from official stores; on the earliest phone i could, i got a j2me gameboy color emulator, and mostly played pokemon on it
@katnjia @EeveeDefender oh, nifty!
that means we can contrib to it, plus cytube looks like it could be handy to run if i ever need something locally too~

@noiob @ctrlaltdog@chitter.xyz i love the octo expansion! imo it's so much more interesting than the normal singleplayer--in everything from aesthetic, to soundscape, to story
i don't want to spoil anything, but i found it really leaves you feeling very good when you finish it ^^
and yes, it's also significantly harder, but i think it feels right with how different it feels from the rest of the game
i drew this one on a tablet that doesn't have pressure sensitivity, palm rejection, or even any real support for tablet pens. it's also the first time i've used medibang
i must thrive on limitation or something ^^'
hee, i knew i'd probably use that weird pen for things besides mario maker!
@EeveeDefender every cinccino is the cinccino of happiness because cinccino are blessed
@noiob i mean, it's still occasionally getting new games! etrian odyssey nexus was released for it in february
@noiob aww, partychu returns!
@monorail hee. happy to help..! ^^
