i also definitely recommend wsl1 over 2 since 2 is basically just running a vm in the background, and you can't really do server stuff with it easily for...a few frustrating reasons

@SuricrasiaOnline i feel like i should also mention, scrum is called agile, but i honestly kinda don't buy it

agile is when developers are allowed to switch gears as things come up, and trust each other to communicate what's important

scrum is a daily ritual of humiliating people who had off days, and adding social pressure with a threat the same will happen to you. and is a way management can make promises based on enthusiastic developers who underestimate their tasks, and blame them later

the absolute worst type of agile. it combines needless commitment with glorifying the idea that you need to be at 100% capacity every single day

that's not how people work, that's just how managers want them to :s

@SuricrasiaOnline i mostly like it because the extra steps to coordinate in a structured way otherwise just feel so bad

a lot of methodologies feels like signing a contract any time i'm about to do something, and it's nice to be allowed to get bored with a thing and just like...do something else we need instead

i use it and termux together on the reg, but before i knew about termux, this is what i'd do most of my stuff in, and the website has old versions, going all the way back to ones usable on android cupcake

@bx not quite the same thing, but it might be possible to grab an old tasker version and interact with the java objects in your system, or write js for more complex things too!
