@bx yess! you know the way that the smash bros directs looked? turns out that was actually a team that sakurai put together to make content independent of nintendo
so after smash was finished, he ended up continuing with that crew and has been making frequent videos about game dev and his experiences for about 8 months now!
it's a super-neat channel that i've been following from its start!
masahiro sakurai has done a lot of pretty impossible things, but having an nearly-universally positive youtube comments section on his channel may be one of the most impressive

the last time i did something with it was when messing around with duke nukum 1's maps, but its pattern language has gotten much better documentation since then (since it's still a pretty new project), so i was able to write something much more complex this time around
someone mentioned cosmic's cosmic adventure today, which somehow lead to me spending entirely too long learning how to reverse its data files in imhex

First #RaspberryPi earned a shitstorm by hiring an ex-cop specialized in hidden surveillance.
Now they accept an investment by Sony for their propr. AI engine to be included in the next Pi. Which "only sends metadata to the cloud".
Edit 2024: They went IPO.
